Evoplay Entertainment has launched the gambling industry’s “first-ever role-playing game.”
The game development studio Evoplay Entertainment has announced the launch of the gambling industry’s first-ever role-playing game (RPG) slot game, Dungeon: Immortal Evil.
According to the company’s statement, Dungeon: Immortal Evil is the result of over a year’s research and development and uses the latest 3D gaming technology.
The game was designed to be “mobile-perfect for handheld gaming,” and Evoplay states that with the launch of the game players now have access to “the first-ever slot-based third-person hack and slash adventure.”
Although the game has several RPG elements, just like all online slot games, wins and losses are all based on the RNG algorithm, which means that a players’ skill or knowledge does not come into play.
Details about the game
Rather than use standard symbols and patterns, the game’s mechanics will allow players to follow an in-game avatar as it battles with the game’s monsters to accumulate loot. Players will follow the avatar with a third-person 3D camera through the game’s many levels. Every time a user spins they will visit a new level with a random number of enemies and a mystery-loot item to be won. The loot items will be divided into different rarities which will be converted into instant win money.
In the place of free spins, and in order to unlock bonus achievements, players will have to follow their avatar through different dungeon spaces, fighting enemies that protect a boss. Once players enter a portal to a dungeon, they must battle a series of opponents and then go onto to defeat the final boss, where they can win a bet multiplier of up to 5000x.
Ivan Kravchuk, CEO of Evoplay Entertainment, said: “At Evoplay Entertainment we’re always looking to push the boundaries of what’s possible when it comes to gaming. The result of over a year’s dedication from our fantastic team, Dungeon: Immortal Evil is designed for the next generation of player who values an immersive experience beyond the typical ‘spin and win.’
“As the industry’s first RPG slot, we’ve had to start from scratch when it comes to building it from the ground up. Everything from design to the game’s mechanics – it has literally been a labour of love for us to create something that can be called truly new in the industry, and we can’t wait to see what our players make of it.”
