IGT and William Hill subsidiaries have announced a multi-year agreement which will offer US lotteries a full service sports betting solution.
The partnership terms state that both IGT Global Solutions and William Hill US will jointly consider future sports betting opportunities and bid requests from US lotteries on a mutually exclusive basis.
This partnership will also allow IGT’s sports betting platform PlayShot, which is operational in four different states, to benefit from William Hill’s experience and successful track record as an operator in the states with an established foothold in all states that have legalized sports betting.
It appears that both companies wish to build upon an already successful partnership which resulted in both IGT and William Hill being chosen to run the Rhode Island lottery last month.
