William Hill continues to expand its presence in the US after entering into a long-term agreement with Golden Entertainment.
The agreement will see William Hill manage all of Golden Entertainment’s race and sports betting operations in Nevada, Maryland and Montana.
This agreement builds on top of an existing deal between the two companies.
At the moment, William Hill operates the race and sports book at Golden Entertainment’s Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Gambling Hall and about 80 deposit kiosks at taverns owned by Golden Entertainment across the state of Nevada.
This updated agreement will also add new casinos to the deal including The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel & Tower, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur and Arizona Charlie’s Boulder in Vegas.
The number of deposit kiosks William Hill oversee will also be increased from 80 to 100.
William Hill will also operate the race and sports books at Edgewater and Colorado Belle casino resorts in Laughlin after Golden Entertainment finalizes the acquisition of the casinos in early 2019.
The most interesting part of this agreement is that both companies will be pursuing sports betting opportunities in Maryland and Montana, subject to the legalization of sports betting in both states.
