William Hill open sports lounge at the NJ Devils’ Prudential Center

On Friday, the New Jersey Devils and the Prudential Center in New Jersey hosted the opening ceremony for the William Hill Sports Lounge.

The lounge takes up 1,200 square feet and is situated on the main concourse.

The area will be open for all of the Devils home games and a variety of other events held at the venue.

The opening ceremony was led by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment president Hugh Weber, CRO Adam Davis, William Hill US CEO Joe Asher, Devils Alumni and MSG broadcaster Ken Daneyko and radio broadcaster Chico Resch.

It is important to note that this sports lounge is not a sportsbook. Instead, it acts as an “activation point” for New Jersey bettors with the William Hill NJ app.

Visitors that have the William Hill NJ app can place bets on their phones from within the lounge.

The lounge features over 32 digital LED screens which display betting odds and live sporting events.

The lounge is also staffed with William Hill ambassadors that will help educate guests about sports betting.

Back in October, William Hill entered into a partnership with the New Jersey Devils which allowed them to open a sports lounge at the Prudential Center. This was the first ever sports betting partnership for the team and the venue.

As part of the partnership, William Hill will present league-wide odds on the venue’s scoreboard. The scoreboard is 9,584 square feet in size, making it the largest in-arena scoreboard in the world.
