WynnBet inks partnership with the Cincinnati Reds

WynnBet is the latest sports betting brand to team up with a professional sports team.

Wynn Resorts’ online betting brand WynnBet has inked a new corporate partnership with Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Cincinnati Reds.

What’s covered in the partnership

Under the agreement, the WynnBet brand will secure the right to use the Ohio-based team’s marks and logos across its online products.

Although sports betting is not yet legal in Ohio or Kentucky, which makes up the majority of the team’s local markets, WynnBet hopes to use the partnership to reach fans in Indiana.

WynnBet will also gain access to the team’s marketing assets to create co-branded promotional offers for bettors which will be made available through the operator’s betting app for users in Indiana.

The sportsbook operator will also offer fans the chance to win Reds game tickets and memorabilia during promotions.

Another deal for WynnBet

In recent months, WynnBet has been hard at work to expand its position in the US sports betting market.

The operator has inked several partnerships with sports teams including the National Basketball Association (NBA)’s Memphis Grizzlies and Detroit Pistons.

WynnBet has also become an authorised gaming operator for the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (Nascar), and the official online sportsbook of the Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway.

In its announcement, Wynn said that after its acquisition of BetBull, the sportsbook provides social sports betting technology and aims to make betting a celebrated and shared experience.

Where does WynnBet have access?

In January, WynnBet gained market access for sports betting in Indiana as well as several other US states.

During the month, WynnBet also secured access into Ohio’s sports betting market but did not disclose details of the arrangement.

In February, WynnBet received approval to offer sports betting in the state of Tennessee.

At the time of writing, WynnBet is operational in New Jersey, Colorado, Michigan, Indiana, Virginia, and Tennessee. The betting brand has also secured access into Massachusetts, Ohio, and Iowa.
