Promotions

Resorts Sportsbook offers a wide range of bonuses and promotions, from free bets to parlay boosts. These are some of the best promos available in New Jersey.

Alongside the sign-up offer, Resorts has a variety of promotions for its online casino and sportsbook, ranging from free bets to cashback. Resorts is constantly rolling out new promotions, so be sure to check what you can take advantage of before placing a wager. Always be sure to read the terms of conditions, as some promos only apply to the sportsbook while others can only be used with the online casino.

Weekly Free Bet

Punters that make at least 10 valid sports bets between Fridays and Thursdays can redeem a free $5 bet every week. Resorts will deposit the $5 free bet into your account at the end of the week. Be aware that this does not apply to the casino, only the sportsbook.

Up to 60% Bonus on Parlays

If you place a parlay bet with three selections or more, you can take advantage of Resorts’ parlay boost. If your parlay wins, Resorts will add extra cash on top of your original wager equal to between 5% and 60% of your original stake up to a maximum of $25,000. The parlay boost is determined by how many picks you have made. For instance, a three-leg parlay will receive a 5% boost, a four-leg parlay will get a 10% boost, a five pick parlay will get a 15% boost and so on. A 14-leg parlay will receive a maximum boost of 60%.

Resorts Rewards

Resorts also offers a comprehensive rewards program that allows users to exchange points for cash and several other rewards. All of Resorts’ customers are automatically enrolled on the rewards program upon creating an online account. Almost every activity with Resorts nets you points which are used to level up to different reward tiers, starting at bronze all the way up to diamond. Each tier brings has its own rewards and benefits. These can be viewed on the Resorts promotions page. Here’s a breakdown of how Reward Points work:
· 1 RP for every $2 wagered on slots
· 1 RP for every $2 wagered on sports
· 1 RP for every $4 wagered on roulette
· 1 RP for every $4 wagered on three-card poker
· 1 RP for every $8 you wager on video poker and all other table games

This reward scheme is clearly tailored to those who enjoy betting with Resorts on a regular basis. If you’re a casual bettor, or just looking to take a dip in the sports betting pool, you may lose interest in the reward scheme after a while.

App Review

The Resort’s app retains the excellent navigation and design aspects of the in-browser site. The app has the same blue and white color scheme featured on the desktop site, making it visually pleasing. The mobile betting app also contains the same navigation links featured on the site and is just as easy to navigate and use.

There is, however, some room for improvement. Resorts could benefit from separating its online casino and sportsbook and rolling out separate apps for mobile devices. When opening the casino app, users are immediately taken to the casino homepage. To reach the sportsbook users must go to the menu and then select the “more” option.

On top of this, every time the app is closed, users must re-enter their login details – there is no express login option. This makes the sign-in process for users who are only concerned with sports betting slightly tedious.

The way in which odds are displayed on the app could also be improved. On the desktop site, Resorts displays the odds for events with two rows and three columns – the spread, moneyline and over/under. This has been carried over to the app and as phone screens are much smaller than desktop screens, users can only view one or two events at a time. This could increase the time it takes for a bettor to find a specific event or place a specific wager.

Aside from these minor issues, the app is incredibly easy to use and navigate. Resorts has decided to keep its app simple and straightforward, making it incredibly easy to pick up and place a quick bet. If we had to choose between the site and the app, we would choose the app.

Reputation

Since opening its doors in 1927, Resorts is the oldest casino in New Jersey’s Atlantic City and has seen competitors come and go over the years. The venue became the first legal casino outside of Nevada and has since become one of the most popular casinos in the state. Thanks to its years of experience and emphasis on serving the customer, Resorts has won several industry awards and secured partnerships with DraftKings and BetStars for sports betting in New Jersey.
