SweepSlots Sweepstakes Casino Review

By James Langley on
SweepSlots is a top-rated sweepstakes casino offering US players in all states but Washington a varied collection of slots and table games with no purchase necessary. The operator has gained a reputation for generous daily promotions, a selection of payment methods, and a streamlined cash prize redemption process. But can it match the current sweepstakes pacesetters Pulsz Casino, McLuck, and Fortune Coins? Our experts delve deep into everything from the game library to the customer support network to give you a comprehensive SweepSlots review.
Overview

SweepSlots Casino Overview

Regal Technologies launched SweepSlots in October 2021, with the platform joining early sweeps casinos like Chumba Casino before the proverbial gold rush in 2022. The sweepstakes site has had more time than many competitors to optimize its platform, demonstrated by the clear layout and helpful customer support options. New players can claim 10,000 gold coins and 1,000 sweeps coins after registering — among the most generous initial sign-up offers.

It’s worth noting that SweepSlots isn’t your average online casino. The platform uses the innovative sweepstakes mechanic to offer legal gambling games in US states where conventional online casinos are still strictly prohibited. Players use gold coins and sweep coins instead of real currency, with the former holding no real-world value and being easily obtained through regular promotions or via coin package purchases. On the other hand, sweeps coins are rarer but can be redeemed for cash prizes once you acquire at least $50 worth.

SweepSlots players can enjoy 57 gaming options, mainly focussing on online sweeps slots. I’ll be honest: the library lags behind competitors like Pulsz and Fortune Coins, with a limited number of options and established developers. Where these examples can offer games like Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus, SweepSlots makes do with assorted titles by little-known software houses like Casino Web Scripts, Igrosoft, and Evoplay.

SweepSlots has a fairly broad selection of banking options, including popular choices like debit cards and Skrill. The operator is also one of a select few sweeps casinos accepting cryptocurrency, which can be a key advantage. I’ll go into more detail regarding the SweepSlots positives and negatives during this in-depth review. Read on for the lowdown.

Pros & Cons

Pros and Cons of SweepSlots

Before I explore specific SweepSlots areas in more detail, here are some initial pros and cons to help you understand the basics:

pros-icon

Pros

  • Engaging and clear website design
  • 10,000 Gold Coins and 1,000 Sweeps Coins welcome bonus
  • Legal in all US states other than Washington
  • Streamlined real money cash prize redemption process
  • Varied payment methods, including rare cryptocurrency support
  • Progressive gold coin jackpots
  • Daily login bonuses and other regular promos
const-icon

Cons

  • Only 57 games currently available
  • No established software developers
  • Doesn’t have a native iOS or Android app
  • Lengthier registration process with more personal data sharing than many alternatives

One of the main SweepSlots highlights is the cryptocurrency support, a fairly unique selling point within the current sweeps casino climate. I also enjoyed the clear layout and transparent cash prize redemptions process, putting the operator on par with other industry leaders. Unfortunately, SweepSlots doesn’t quite have the required gaming range to compete with the best sweeps casinos. This is by far the largest drawback to playing on the site.

Games

Games Available

SweepSlots has a relatively small gaming library, with 57 currently available. Online slots form the bulk of the catalog, although players can also choose from a smaller range of table games, keno, instant wins, and bingo. While the selection didn’t exactly blow me away, I did enjoy its versatility. The majority of these are also hooked up to Mini, Major, and Mega SweepSlots progressive jackpots, with 200,000 gold coins available at the time of writing.

You’ll find most basic slot themes and mechanics in the SweepsSlots library, with a great range of Evoplay Bonus Buy slots perhaps being the main attraction. Nevertheless, there is a notable lack of Megaways titles or slots from eminent software developers. This doesn’t quite cut the mustard anymore, as the sweeps industry has evolved considerably since SweepSlots’ launch in late 2021.

Pulsz and McLuck are two notable platforms with numerous Megaways titles available, while Fortune Coins has also enthusiastically built partnerships recently and now offers a similarly abundant selection. If SweepSlots wants to sit at the same table as these examples, it must work on this aspect.

But Megaways titles — and slots in general — aren’t the only sweeps games worth playing. I was pleasantly surprised to find a decent range of other options, with blackjack, poker, roulette, baccarat, keno, and bingo options. The operator redeems itself here, offering a better selection of non-slot games than the three sweeps casinos I mentioned earlier.

Another positive characteristic was the plentiful information regarding the most popular games, top winners, and recent jackpots. I found it especially useful given I wasn’t as well acquainted with the slots library, helping me choose which games to play based on what other SweepSlots players were enjoying. I’ll go into more detail regarding the games selection below:

Slots

SweepSlots currently offers 45 slot games, lower than many competing platforms. Unfortunately, you cannot enjoy games from NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, or other world-leading software developers here, with the majority of the library provided by smaller names like Casino Web Scripts, Evoplay, and Igrosoft.

As a result, I wasn’t nearly as familiar with the games available, which was both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, I could enjoy entirely new slots I’d never sampled before, but on the other, I had to make do with often inferior games than those on other platforms. Even still, the average RTP is quite high at SweepSlots, with most games well clear of the 96% benchmark.

Additionally, the operator runs a site-wide progressive jackpot network, so all slots can potentially reward players handsomely with gold coins. Select the ‘Recent Jackpots’ tab on the player and winners information section to find the latest prize drops. I especially enjoyed this feature, proving SweepSlot’s fairness and commitment to transparency.

I spent considerable time trying out the slots library aided by the numerous regular free gold coin opportunities. Here are my three main choices, all by Evoplay:

  • Candy Dreams – This Candy Crush-inspired slot with low volatility and 96.11% RTP regularly exceeded my expectations. Candy Dreams uses a 7×7 reel grid with a cluster pay mechanism instead of traditional paylines. Players also enjoy a cascading reel engine, enabling several wins on the same spin. My favorite feature was the Wheel of Fortune bonus round, where random wilds, large multipliers, free spins, and more are up for grabs.
  • Expanding Master – If you’re looking for a vintage Vegas-inspired online slot experience, Expanding Master is perfect. The game looks like a fruit machine straight out of the 1980s, with neon colors and traditional symbols creating a pleasant atmosphere. I enjoyed the straightforward 5×3 reel grid with five paylines, further enhancing the classic fruity feel. Evoplay includes an expanding wild bonus feature that adds a little modernity, but the real highlight is the pick ‘em style special round that can bag a maximum 3,000x multiplier.
  • Atlantis – Atlantis is definitely the best looking SweepSlot game, with a beautifully rendered theme inspired by the legendary underwater city of the same name. The slot also offers 15,625 ways to win, which is particularly exciting in the absence of any Megaways games. Elsewhere, players can enjoy bountiful free spins and stacked wild bonus features. The 94.01% Atlantis RTP is unfortunately on the low side, although this wasn’t particularly noticeable while I was playing.

Table Games

SweepSlots has six options under the ‘Table Games’ category, from poker to blackjack. While the platform cannot offer live dealer games, there’s a decent variety of RNG-based titles. These include:

  • Andar Nights
  • Texas Hold’Em Bonus
  • Texas Hold’Em
  • American Roulette 3D
  • Baccarat
  • Blackjack Lucky Sevens

I had fun sampling the options above, and although they didn’t offer anything worth shouting home about, it was nice to have the choice between a few table games. Other platforms that perform better regarding the slots library can often neglect other casino options, so SweepSlots gains points here.

Other Games

I also had access to a handful of other games at SweepSlots under the ‘Instant Win’ section. The Candy Dreams Bingo game was my favorite option, especially considering the relative lack of bingo games at other sweepstakes casinos. Evoplay’s Perfect Fishing is another great option, a wonderfully relaxing instant win game where players must cast their lines to catch fish worth up to 1,024x the stake.

It would have been nice to find a few dedicated fish table games at SweepSlots, but this isn’t particularly common at leading sweeps sites yet so it’s only a small gripe. If you do want to sample these exciting skill-based casino games, check out the impressive Fortune Coins selection.

Software Developers

Software Developers

SweepSlots originally launched purely with Casino Web Scripts gaming software, but the operator has slowly gained partnerships with other developers since 2021. By and large, I’m not particularly impressed with the selection, with an absence of any big-name providers.

The current catalog mainly contains Evoplay titles, which certainly aren’t bad. The Ukrainian studio has gone from strength to strength in recent years, but it still has a way to go before it can compete with established industry leaders like NetEnt or Pragmatic Play. I’d like to see SweepSlots follow the lead of other competing sweepstakes casinos and establish partnerships with a few more notable developers in the future.

Design & User Experience

Design and User Experience

I’m a big fan of the SweepSlots design and user experience. The platform is straightforward to use, especially regarding prize redemptions. Click on ‘Redeem’ on the left-hand menu to instantly start the process or use the other ‘Games’, ‘Buy GC’, and ‘Invite Friend’ options to navigate elsewhere.

I didn’t have any software troubles when playing on SweepSlots either, with everything working seamlessly. The operator has helpful categories for its games ranging from ‘Top Picks’ to ‘Instant’ and also has a manual search function to find specific titles. Finally, the scrolling carousel at the top of the screen is packed with helpful game suggestions and regular promos, making sure I didn’t miss out on anything.

Bonuses

Promotions and Offers

New SweepSlots customers are treated to 10,000 gold coins and 1,000 sweeps coins after registration, with an additional heavily discounted gold coin package acting as a first purchase bonus. It’s among the most generous welcome offers I’ve seen so far, which was a great start to my time at the site.

But the SweepSlots bonuses don’t stop there. The operator runs regular free coin giveaways via its Facebook and Instagram pages — make sure you follow these channels so you don’t miss out. My favorite promo was the daily login bonus, granting 5,000 gold coins and 0.5 sweeps coins simply for logging into your account.

Banking

Payment Options Available

SweepSlots is one of the leading sweeps sites regarding its payment options. Players can use the following methods to purchase coin packages and make redemptions:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Discover
  • Skrill
  • Paysafecard (no redemptions)
  • Cryptocurrency

I was particularly happy to find such an obvious cash redemption section, with the ‘Redeem’ option clearly signposted on the homepage. I’ve come across several sweeps sites that make the redemption process painfully complicated, presumably to discourage customers from claiming. There are no such problems at SweepSlots, pointing to the operator’s trustworthiness.

Concluding Thoughts

By and large, I’m happy with the SweepSlots sweepstakes experience. The website offers a nice design and glitch-free software, while the operator excels with its available payment methods and generous daily login bonus. The limited game library is my one main drawback, especially compared to competitors like McLuck or Pulsz. Even still, SweepSlots has a nice range of table games and other options, which isn’t always the case elsewhere. Sign up through our link to claim the 10,000 gold coins and 1,000 sweeps coins welcome bonus and get started.
