Our Unibet Review

Overall, my experience with Unibet was positive. I appreciated the choice of Unibet sign up offer and the fact there was no Unibet bonus code to remember was good.

Personal Experience Using Unibet

As someone trying a lot of bookmakers, Unibet stands out for several reasons. Firstly, the site is excellent no matter which platform you use. Secondly, the range of sports and markets are great. The one thing I appreciated that I haven’t seen in many other places was the community. Here, you can find extra support from peers, which I liked. I also liked the bet builders here, especially the featured options and how easy it is to add them to your betslip.

However, as someone who likes to place multiple bets on football each week, I would like to see Unibet offer for other sports aside from racing, but this isn’t enough to put my off using the site for my everyday betting.

pros icon Pros:

  • There are two Unibet new customer offers that are ultimately the same, whether you choose horse racing or sports for your Unibet free bet.
  • The overall site and app are faultless in functionality.
  • The design is excellent.
  • The support available here is second-to-none.
  • The Unibet withdrawal time is excellent.

cons icon Cons:

  • Most of the regular promotions for existing customers are on horse racing, which is frustrating for those wanting to bet on other sports markets.

On Which Sports Can You Apply The Sign Up Offer?

As mentioned above, the Unibet sports are extensive and the good news is that if you qualify for the bonus (i.e. if your first sports bet loses), you’re free to spend your free bets on any sports market. Here are some of the most popular options you can bet on with your sports bonus after your first bet.

Football

There are hundreds of betting markets for football at Unibet. You’ve got all the common options like the Premier League and Champions League but there are also more obscure options. These include bets on Bahrain’s Division 2, the premier league in Burundi, and specials like bets on the next permanent managers of specific clubs.

Basketball

Besides the common options like NBA, you can bet on Euroleague, NCAAW, the Latvian-Estonian League, the EuroBasket Qualification, and more. Basketball often features in-play betting too. Bet options include a bet builder, match parlays, player points, player specials, and more.

Tennis

In Unibet’s tennis section, you have lots of choice too. You can bet on all of the major tournaments and events like the French Open, US Open, ATP, WTA, and Wimbledon. Markets include game handicap, total games, set handicap, total sets, finishing position, and more.

Unibet Existing Customer Promotions and Regular Offers

Once you’ve used your Unibet free bets in the welcome offer, you can take part in Unibet’s regular promotions. Unfortunately, these are heavily focused on horse racing. Current sports bonus offers include:

Acca Boosts

These are available on racing accumulators up to 3 times a day. The maximum stake is £20 and the more selections you choose, the bigger your boost. This ranges from 10% when you have 3 selections to 40% with 7 or more selections.

Best Odds Guaranteed

Unibet has a best odds guaranteed offer, which gives players odds boosts when the starting price is bigger. This is available from 8am on the day of the race.

Money Back Specials

This is another horse racing bet offer giving you money back as bonus of your horse finishes 2nd or 3rd in a selected race.

Does Unibet have a Mobile App?

Most people visiting betting sites do so on their mobiles so it’s a good idea to know what’s available in terms of apps. Unibet actually has 3 different apps. There is a Unibet app for sports betting and odds, one for slots and games, and one for poker. These are available on both iOS and Android.

The sports betting app is rated 3.7/5 on Google Play and 4.2/5 on the App Store. I tried both and found them similarly responsive and had no problems using either of them.

Unibet Key Sportsbook Features: What Makes Signing Up Worthwhile?

The Unibet sportsbook has a range of important features that make signing up worthwhile. Here are several factors that I like about this bookmaker.

Sports Betting Markets

The Unibet site has a wealth of sporting events to bet on. There are all of the popular sports football betting, racing, tennis, NBA, darts, cricket, snooker, and esports. You’ll also find rarer options like bandy, chess, floorball, Gaelic sports, futsal, lacrosse, and winter sports. Besides sports, there are also plenty of TV and novelty bets available. These include Eurovision, the Oscars, the next James Bond, Dancing on Ice, and BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

You can also enjoy live streaming, in-play betting and Unibet TV here.

Sportsbook Interface and Design

Unibet excel at making things clear to customers both on the website and on the Unibet app. When you visit Unibet, you can find everything easily compared to many other betting sites. Everything is visible in easy-to-access menus or headers and the bottom of each page contains key information you might need to access whether you’re on the website or the Unibet mobile app.

Security and Player Safety

Unibet is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission, which is one of the highest-rated regulators in the global gambling industry. The operator has won multiple UK bookmaker awards , EGR Nordics awards, and International Gaming Awards. This includes Socially Responsible Operator of the Year 2020 and Corporate Responsibility Programme of the Year 2019.

Bonuses and Promotions

Compared to some competitor online bookmakers, Unibet offers a great range of promotions in addition to the Unibet welcome bonus. Unibet promotions in sports and racing, casino bonus deals, bingo and poker offers, live casino bonus deals, and a £150 refer-a-friend bonus.

Customer Support

The support offered to customers here is exceptions. Whether you want help making your first sports bet or want advice on Unibet live streaming, there is a range of ways to get support. This includes a fantastic community forum, a comprehensive Help Centre, a live chat function, and a free phone telephone number.
