  • Free live streams
  • Mobile apps for Apple and Android
  • Uninspiring website design

Welcome Bonus

With a matched deposit bonus of 100% up to £100, the welcome offer at Bet365 is one of the more generous we’ve seen at UK online bookies. To benefit from the bonus, you must be a new customer and bet at least £5 on a selection at odds of 1/5 or greater. Win or lose, when your qualifying bet settles, you’ll receive a free bet credit of equal value.

One of the best features of the Bet365 free bet welcome offer is that it’s super flexible. You can claim your free bet at any point within 30 days of registering for your online betting account, and bet365 will match the largest of your qualifying bets over that period – up to the £100 maximum. There are no wagering requirements to worry about either, so you can claim anything you win instantly.

Bet365 excludes payment methods such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Paysafecard from this offer – unless you complete additional verification processes on your account before claiming the bonus.

With around 40 different sports to bet on, Bet365 provides excellent coverage for punters. It goes without saying that the likes of football, tennis, and cricket are here, but there are also plenty of less mainstream events to bet on, from Gaelic sports and futsal to table tennis and ski jumping.

Bet365 gives each sport a dedicated section on the site, so you’ll find all the details about live and future sporting events and the bets on offer in one place.

Odds

Offering competitive pricing across the board, Bet365 stacks up well compared to other leading bookies.

Punters looking for even better value will find an assortment of offers available. Promos include tennis and football acca bonuses, which can potentially boost your winnings by up to 70%, depending on your selections. There’s also a best price promise on all live races on ITV Racing, and enhanced prices on full-time results for selected football matches.

Additionally, you can make use of the bet builder function to create your own bespoke wagers for selected sports.

Live Betting & Streaming

Given this brand’s pedigree, it probably won’t come as a surprise to learn Bet365 provides live betting for a range of sports. Animated graphics and heaps of stats keep you up to speed with events as they progress, while real-time updates to the bets and odds available mean you can jump in and place a bet whenever you fancy. With dozens of in-play markets available for every sport, there’s plenty of ways to get in on the action.

Better still is the fact that bet365 offers live streaming for an extensive selection of sports, including international cricket fixtures and top European domestic soccer matches. It’s easy to see what’s playing out at any point, just log in and click the streaming icon under the in-play tab to check out a list of current live events. The play button will be active as long as you have some money in your account or have placed a bet in the past 24 hours.

In-play punters can also take advantage of bet365’s cashout option on selected live bets. In other words, you can close down your bet and take whatever payout is available at that moment, even before the outcome is known.

Cashout works using a slider system, so you can control how much of your wager you want to cash out. If things are going well, it can be a fun way to secure some profit while leaving the rest of your bet to run to its natural conclusion.

Promotions

The promos at Bet365 aren’t just for new punters. This site offers a bounty of betting bonuses for regular customers, too.

If you’re a footie fan, you can take advantage of an early payout offer if your team takes a lead of 10 points or more in the league, or if they go two goals ahead in a particular match. Applies to pre-match bets on the standard Full Time Result market for selected competitions. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

Bet365 is particularly notable for offering a range of promos for American sports fans, including MLB early payouts and parlay bonuses.

Racing fans aren’t left out either, punters backing a winner at 4/1 or more, for example, enjoy risk-free bets on live ITV races. You can even choose your place terms on selected horse races using the Each Way Extra feature. Back a winner at 4/1 or more and get a risk free bet on the next live ITV race (up to £50). Offer applies to first single bet placed. Applies to Win and Each Way Fixed Odds markets and Enhanced Place Terms markets only. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

With all this coming on top of Bet365’s other offers – such as the bet builders and acca bonuses – it’s easy to see why this bookie is such a popular pick with punters. Applies to pre-match accumulators of 3+ selections on standard Full Time Result, Both Teams To Score or Result/Both Teams To Score markets only. Bonus percentage is dependent on number of selections. Bonus capped at £100k and applied to returns. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

Design & Usability

If we’re being honest, Bet365 isn’t likely to win any prizes for visual appeal. The site has a sombre, charcoal colour scheme and rather business-like feel, which doesn’t have the excitement factor of competitor sites.
However, some may see this as an advantage, as the no bells and whistles approach makes it easy to navigate and pinpoint the markets you’re looking for.

There are quick links to dedicated sections for each betting market on offer. For the most part, these are for specific sports, but you’ll also see some special bets like the next winner of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, the next winner of Love Island, and the victor in the upcoming US Presidential Election.

If it’s the live sporting action you’re after, you’ll find a link to all the in-play events both in the left-hand corner of the site and right at the top of the site’s middle column. Bet365 helps bettors make the most of the site’s promos by displaying a list of relevant offers on the right-hand side of the site, with the information displayed changing according to which sport you’re viewing. It’s a simple way to see if there are any bonuses available for your bet.

App Review

Bet365 offers both a fully optimised mobile site and a downloadable sports betting app which is available from both the Apple Store and Google Play Store.

Whether you’re using an Apple or an Android device, a mobile phone or a tablet, you’ll be able to access the app, which is packed with the same great features and functionality as the desktop platform – including live streaming, edit bet options, and personalised displays.

As you might expect, the app also offers a handful of bonus features, like Touch ID and Face ID and push notifications that bring the latest updates and bonus offers to your home screen.

Bet365 betting apps offer an excellent mobile betting experience on Android and iOS.

Cashier

The choice of payment options at Bet365 is not as extensive as you’ll find at the likes of 888sport, for example, but most customers should find a suitable banking option.

You can fund your online betting account using a Visa, Mastercard or Maestro debit card, prepaid Paysafecard vouchers, or through PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

The absence of Neteller or Skrill may be an issue for some, and that’s certainly one area in which the cashier section could be improved.

Deposit and Withdrawal Times and Limits

Most of the payment methods available at Bet365 allow you to make instant deposits to your sports betting account – although wire transfers can take 2-10 days to clear, and cheques can make you wait up to 28 days.

The minimum deposit stands between £5 and £10 depending on the banking option you use, with wire transfers and postal cheques once again being the exceptions, with a minimum deposit of £100.

It should be noted that, like all reputable online bookmakers, Bet365 allows you to set deposit limits that can be fixed for a number of days, weeks or months, as required.

Most of the accepted payment methods double as withdrawal options, though you’ll need to set up an online e-wallet account for Paysafecard should you wish to cash out through this method. Apart from cheques, most withdrawals will hit your pocket within a few days, with payouts to PayPal and an online Paysafecard account being the quickest of all.
