  • Slots Collection Isn't That Large Compared With Others
  • Welcome Bonuses Not Available To E-Wallet Users

Welcome Bonus

New players receive 30 free chips to use on roulette; these chips are released in batches of 10 across three consecutive days. For the proper welcome bonus, players have a choice of three: they can opt for a 100% match bonus of up to £100 to use on a selection of table games, video poker games and slots; the second choice is a 200% match bonus of up to £400 to use on slots; the third choice is a 50% match bonus of up to £200 to use on live roulette, which comes with five free chips. For both of these, e-wallet deposits aren’t eligible. The all games bonus has wagering requirements of 45x while for the slots bonus it’s 35x and for the live casino bonus it’s 40x. The slots bonus also comes with 100 free spins given out in batches of 10 over 10 consecutive days.

Software

Betfair Casino operates on the Playtech platform and therefore most of the games available to play at the casino are from this provider. As for the rest of the casino’s games, they’re from a range of other well established providers including NetEnt, WMS, IGT and Red Tiger Gaming, to name a few. In total, the casino’s games come from just over half a dozen providers. The line-up of providers is quite good; some good providers are listed and the casino should appeal to fans of Playtech, though those looking for games by Microgaming should look elsewhere.

Games

A great thing about the games collection at Betfair Casino is the fact that it’s very diverse and should cater to all players’ needs. The collection includes a decent number of slots, plenty of progressive jackpots, a few dozen table games, lots of live casino tables, some arcade games and a few video poker games. All in all, it’s quite a good range of games; it isn’t the biggest collection of games, but it still offers players plenty of variety and choice, which they’re sure to greatly appreciate. Games are grouped into various type-based categories, with slots broken down into further sub-categories based on features and number of paylines, so that players can find particular ones they’re looking for more easily.

Slots

Betfair Casino has over 150 video slots listed, of which around 45 are progressive jackpots that have the potential to offer huge, life-changing cash prizes. Though the slots collection isn’t as large compared to some other online casinos, it still offers plenty of variety. Some of the most popular slots at the casino include Stars Awakening, Dragon Champions, Da Vinci’s Vault, Halloween Fortune and the branded titles Britain’s Got Talent and Who Wants to be a Millionaire? New titles are added to the casino fairly regularly.

Live Casino

Betfair Casino offers live versions of the following games: roulette, blackjack, baccarat, casino hold’em, 3 card brag, sic bo and hi-lo. For most of these games, there are several different tables running games simultaneously. It appears that all of the live casino games are produced in-house by Betfair itself.

Mobile

Those looking to access Betfair Casino while on the go have two options: they can either download the app or access the mobile site through their web browser. Both of these options offer high-quality online gambling experiences you can enjoy anytime and anywhere, however if you’re looking for better performance and you’re going to be playing at the casino regularly, the app is suggested, whereas if you don’t want to download anything, the mobile site is suggested. Both offer a good selection of the desktop casino’s top games and have the same welcome offers and VIP club. The app offers a more optimised experience, though of course the mobile casino is a very worthwhile choice considering it’s well designed and runs smoothly on a broad range of smartphones; both the mobile casino and the app are fully compatible with most operating systems, including iOS and Android.

Promotions

Aside from the various welcome offers, Betfair Casino didn’t have any regular promotions listed at the time of writing. It does state that players receive details of promotions every week, so it seems to be the case that the regular promotions just aren’t listed on the website for some reason.

Cashier

A good range of payment methods is accepted at Betfair Casino, enabling a large number of players to conveniently make payments without problems. Deposits are instant though for withdrawals, the time it takes for the money to reach you varies depending on the payment method used. For e-wallets, it takes around 12 hours in total; for UK bank transfers it can take up to three working days; and for debit cards, plus non-UK bank transfers it can take up to five working days. The casino’s policy requires that withdrawals be made using the same payment method used to make deposits.

You can pay by:

Bank Transfer Express, ClickandBuy, Maestro, Mastercard, Neteller, PayPal, QIWI, Skrill, Solo, Visa, Visa Electron, Webmoney, Western Union, Wire Transfer

You can withdraw by:

Apple Pay , Neteller , PayPal , Skrill , Visa Electron , Webmoney , Wire Transfer

VIP and Loyalty Reward

Betfair Casino has a VIP club that appears to be invite-only. There are three tiers to the club: Gold, Platinum and Diamond, with each offering better rewards and perks than the one before it. VIPs can enjoy higher stake limits, lower wagering requirements, milestone bonuses and invites to special events, along with access to a dedicated VIP account manager. This seems like a good casino for high rollers looking to spend larger sums of money since the VIP club offers you the chance to place higher bets.

Our Verdict

Betfair is a well established brand and its website is very large, with a dozen different sections to suit everyone’s tastes. Its casino section offers everything you’d expect from a typical online casino, including a range of games, good customer service and a generous welcome offer (a choice of three welcome offers, to be exact). The only major downsides are the fact that the slots collection is quite small compared to many competitors’ slot collections and the fact that the only promotions listed are the welcome offers. Having said that, the brand has an excellent reputation and even though the casino has a few areas it can improve on, it’s still definitely worth trying out, as you’re in very safe hands with Betfair.
