Compare.bet US is an online gambling comparison site. We launched in October 2018 as BettingUS.com, with the goal of becoming the go-to source of news and content for sports betting in the US market. In December 2019 BettingUS.com was rebranded to Compare.bet US. We’ll be bringing you the latest news and updates on all things sports betting, as well as guides and reviews to help you navigate the world of sports betting in the USA.

While Compare.bet might be new to the gambling scene, the team behind it isn’t. We have years of experience in the online gambling industry, and as such, have a vast knowledge of online casinos, bingo sites, sportsbooks and esports betting sites. September 2017 – Compare.bet was launched as a very simple sports betting comparison site catering to the UK market
2018 – expanded to cover casino, bingo, poker, lottery and esports
2019 – launched localised version of Compare.bet in Portuguese.
September 2019 – launched The Warm-Up, Compare.bet’s own football publication
October 2019 – released ‘Add to Compare’ feature
December 2019 – launched Compare.bet US via the integration of sister site and dedicated US gambling portal BettingUS.com
December 2019 – launched Compare.bet News
December 2019 – released Gambling Explorer visualization feature

How we make money

To keep our service free for users, we are paid a commission by some gambling operators when a new customer joins via our site. This commission doesn’t affect your playing experience in any way, and helps us maintain a dedicated, expert team, focused on adding new comparison features, accurate operator research and helpful guides, features, news and stories.

Good causes

As a prominent player in the online gambling sector, we have a responsibility to ensure players are protected. As part of this, we make regular donations to Gamble Aware, and provide support to the UK’s Responsible Gambling Week campaign annually.

He's responsible for driving our overarching strategy, working to ensure Compare.bet offers users a leading-edge betting site comparison service that hits the spot every time. Jack also contributes to the production of footballer interviews for Compare.bet News and follows Aston Villa religiously.

Daniel Bennett

Daniel is Head of Operations at Compare.bet. He joined us in 2017 and has half a decade of experience writing on topics including sports betting, online casino and the NBA. Daniel also covers Premier League football for The Warm-Up and has interviewed Louis Saha, Richard Dunne and Gary Pallister. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys film photography and making Spotify playlists.

Marcus, our Head of Content, has been with Compare.bet since 2020 when he joined as a Content Editor. He has six years' experience as a professional editor, and bylines in The Times, iGamingFuture, Audioxide, GameRant, and Business Chief. Outside the online gambling space, Marcus spends his spare time listening to as much music as possible, praying for West Ham, working on his guitar skills, and trying not to suck at chess.

George is a Commercial Executive at Compare.bet who joined us in September 2021. Prior to joining Compare.bet, George served as an Account Manager at Stay Private where he excelled at client acquisition and retention for over 2 years. He’s also worked as a Customer Service Manager for the Ladbrokes Coral Group, with his experience working in betting and gaming dating six years and counting. With this solid foundation, George builds and manages relationships with existing and new partners by using his skillset to provide users only the best and most reputable betting and casino websites. A keen bettor himself, his experience provides us with expert insight and analysis for our reviews. His combination of a BA achieved studying in North America and a degree in American Studies from the University of Birmingham has him well-placed for our US and Canadian operations. A keen follower of MMA, golf, men's and women’s football, George contributes with tips and betting previews as well. Outside of work, George enjoys playing guitar, poker, golf, and is first-choice goalkeeper for his Sunday League football team.

Kyle is a news editor at Compare.bet, joining the company in 2021. He covered the NFL's Arizona Cardinals for eight seasons and has written freelance pieces for ESPN, CBS Sports, MLB.com, the Associated Press and more. He majored in journalism at Arizona State University and likes to hike and play chess in his spare time.
