Next Team Odds: Heat, Kings Favored to Add Bradley Beal if He Leaves Wizards

The Washington Wizards have been in a long-time rut, and there are reports that Bradley Beal could be dealt to a contender this offseason.

Beal has a no-trade clause and can help determine his destination, if it is decided that the time is right for him to move on.

The Wizards went 35-47 last season and have missed the playoffs four of the past five years. If Beal does get traded, where will he end up?

His next team odds have been unveiled, and it’s the Miami Heat that lead the way in potential destinations.

Beal staying with the Wizards is still the most likely scenario, according to DraftKings, followed by Miami, and then a move to the Sacramento Kings following reporting by Shams Charania that the teams have been in contact about a possible trade.

The Kings were +3000 longshots to add Beal earlier in the day but are now right in the mix.

Here are the top-6 odds for Bradley Beal’s next NBA team, as of June 15th, which can be wagered on at DraftKings sportsbook:

  • Wizards +185
  • Heat +370
  • Kings +500
  • 76ers +800
  • Celtics +900
  • Bucks +1000

Beal signed a five-year, $251 million extension last offseason and was flanked by Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma last year. While all three put up solid numbers, it didn’t translate to great success, which is why there are questions about a potential rebuild in Washington.

Beal averaged 23.2 points, 5.4 assists and 3.9 rebounds last year while shooting a career-best 50.6% from the field in 50 games.

The Heat are fresh off an NBA Finals appearance, while the Celtics, Bucks and 76ers were the top three teams in the East during the regular season, so all four landing spots would be intriguing.

The Kings are an up-and-coming team that could really make some noise if they add another playmaker.

Based on his contract, the return would be minimal, and any team that acquires Beal would need to figure out the financial part of it.

The New York teams are also in the mix, but the rest of the field is seen as longshots to get Beal. Here are the rest of the next team odds for Bradley Beal, per DraftKings on June 15th:

  • Knicks +1200
