Welcome Bonus

Looking to sign up to a new bookie? New SportNation customers can currently get up to £50 in free bets when they join. To get access to the full bonus amount, new customers need to make a series of qualifying bets, each with a stake of at least £20 at odds of 1.8 or more. The bets can be in any order, but need to consist of a single, double, treble, four-fold and finally a five-fold. Each qualifying bet receives a free bet of between £5 and £20. The qualifying bets must be on sportsbook events and the max winnings are 20 times the free bet stake. The good news is there are no wagering requirements, meaning you can withdraw any winnings instantly.

Odds

SportNation has a competitive range of odds and markets for its most popular sports. You’ll find over 170 on offer for big domestic and European football matches in the likes of the Premier League, La Liga and the Champions League. There are also around 70 markets for NBA basketball and 30 or more for major tennis tournaments like Wimbledon and the Australian Open.

SportNation gives its customers the option to create their own custom multiple bets using its ‘Create Your Bet’ function. This can be activated on any football match event screen by toggling the switch on the sliding markets menu. It gives you the flexibility to make multiple selections from the same game and combine them into a single bet, which you can easily add to your betslip.

Live Betting & Streaming

SportNation makes hundreds of live in-play betting markets available on a number of its sports including football, tennis, cricket, basketball and volleyball. You’ll find more than 100 in-play markets on top football matches and around 40 for sports like tennis, basketball and ice hockey.

If you’re the type of punter who likes to keep tabs on the action whilst betting live, SportNation also has an excellent match visualiser which allows you to see key events like fouls, shots and goals as they happen in real time. The in-play interface also benefits from a form guide and a small selection of key stats, so you’ll be clued-up on all the latest info when placing those live bets.

SportNation’s live streaming service hosts coverage of all British and Irish horse racing. Unlike other bookies, live streams are completely free to members, so you won’t even have to place a bet or have money in your account to watch the action.

Promotions

The promotions that are currently on offer to SportNation customers include some original and unique bonuses that can potentially provide some excellent value.

In particular, SportNation’s rewards scheme is a distinctive perk, with the self-proclaimed ‘cashback bookmaker’ claiming to be the only one to offer such a service. Customers gain reward points for every sportsbook or casino bet, which can then be redeemed for free bets, deposit bonuses, cash back or even donations to a select number of charities including Prostate Cancer UK, the British Heart Foundation and Kick It Out.

We’ve already spoken about how SportNation’s ‘Create Your Bet’ feature allows you to put together your own unique multiples, but it might also bag you some serious value thanks to its ‘Create Your Bet’ bonus. All you have to do is make a custom bet of three or more legs at odds of 4/1 or greater, and if it wins, SportsNation will give you a free bet equal to your initial stake up to the value of £20.

VAR decisions are causing havoc in some of Europe’s top leagues, but thanks to SportNation’s VAR insurance, your betslip can be safe. SportNation will refund your stake on match result bets if your team scores a winner which is then disallowed following a VAR review. This offer is opt-in only, and available on selected televised Premier League matches.

Fancy putting your horse racing knowledge to the test? SportNation’s ‘Pick a Pony’ predictor game guarantees a prize with every entry. All you have to do is pick which horse will finish in front of another from a series of head to head selections. The more picks you get right, the more prizes you’ll win. The game itself costs nothing to enter, but to qualify for free entry you must have placed at least £20 in sportsbook bets before 13.50 on the Saturday of each ‘Pick a Pony’ gameweek.

SportNation also boosts the odds of a number of singles, doubles and trebles from upcoming football matches for its customers to bet on every day. Just look for the enhanced odds section on the navbar to see which games and markets have been boosted that day.

Design & Usability

The SportNation desktop site is extremely well designed and is one of the best sites we’ve come across for user experience. It has a clear layout that manages to fit all the site’s best features onto the homepage without feeling cramped. There are two navbars at the top of the screen that feature links to its sportsbook, in-play betting, the promotions page and the rewards store, and you’ll find an A to Z list of all sports down the page’s left side. The main body of the page is made up of sections for the day’s upcoming horse races and a list of current live in-play events you can filter by sport.

App Review

There isn’t currently a SportNation app available to download from the Apple App Store. However, there is a native app for Android users, while everyone can still access all of SportNation’s best features on phones and tablets by using its optimised mobile site. The responsive site features two slider menus in place of the desktop site’s navbars, meaning you can enjoy all SportNation’s top promotions, in-play betting events, live streams and rewards from the palm of your hand.
