With the first Major of the year now in the books, the PGA Tour moves to Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina for the RBC Heritage, which starts on Thursday and which will be shown live on Sky Sports over four days.
RBC Heritage Outright Winner Betting Preview
Rory McIlroy made history by becoming only the fourth player to successfully defend The Masters at Augusta, but the Northern Irishman will be taking a rest for this week’s RBC Heritage. World number one Scottie Scheffler, who was second on Sunday, will lead the market going into this signature event, which will present a different challenge with its tight fairways which will be a strong test of accuracy.
Justin Thomas defends the trophy he won last year, while there are plenty of other contenders who will be looking to either build upon strong Masters showings or be looking to get back on track.
Tip 1. Russell Henley to win the RBC Heritage @ 18/1 with bet365
Scheffler is a former winner of this tournament but has been expensive to follow at short prices recently, so it makes sense to look a little further down the list for some value. Russell Henley is one operator who fits the bill as he continues to demonstrate that he is a top-drawer player with a host of consistent results. He was third at Augusta following an excellent weekend when he carded rounds of 66 and 68, and there is a sense that another win is just around the corner.
That was the 14th top-20 finish in his last 16 outings and Hilton Head form figures of 9-MC-19-12-8, and Henley ticks plenty of boxes as an accurate type who is no slouch on the greens. His confidence will be sky high, so it would not be a huge surprise if he claimed his first victory since the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March 2025.
Tip 2. Maverick McNealy to win the RBC Heritage @ 30/1 with bet365
Maverick McNealy would have been fearing the worst after carding an opening 77 at Augusta, but he steadied the ship well and a share of 18th spot was a strong effort from the man who won the 2024 RSM Classic. He has missed just one cut in 2026 and has produced some strong Harbour Town Links results which suggest he could go close. McNealy was fourth when Stewart Cink won in 2021 and they third last year when he carded Friday and Saturday rounds of 65, so his closing 67 at the Masters means he heads to South Carolina in fine fettle.
Tip 3. Jake Knapp to win the RBC Heritage @ 35/1 with bet365
Jake Knapp has made one visit to Hilton Head when he was 62nd in 2024, but he is much more comfortable among elite company these days. He has had a string of good 2026 results, with a fifth at the Farmers Insurance Open followed by eighth-placed finishes at Phoenix and Pebble Beach alongside two sixth spots at the Genesis Invitational and in Houston. Knapp’s 11th at the Masters came after he had made the cut in just one of his previous five Major appearances and he will be buzzing, so expect a bold show.
