Alongside Paysafecard, HeySpin supports many other payment options, including MuchBetter, AstroPay, Trustly and Skrill. On registering with the site, I was able to accept a welcome bonus offer that gave me an extra £10 to bet with when I deposited and bet £15 of my own cash. This isn’t the biggest of offers but it’s certainly a nice boost to help get you started. I was, however, disappointed to see so many payment methods excluded from this promotion, including Paysafecard, Trustly, Skrill, PayPal and Neteller. Once you’re in, there’s a great selection of sports to bet on — including some niche markets you don’t often see available, such as handball, waterpolo and hurling.
The site is easy to navigate and is displayed with a dark background against the recognisable HeySpin gold writing. A tab for in-play betting is located near the logo on the main page and here you’ll find a breakdown of ongoing events — either what’s happening currently or an overview of the whole day’s schedule. For me, all these useful features make betting with HeySpin a real joy.
Pros:
Huge selection of sports markets
Easy to switch between casino and sportsbook
Live chat available
Cons:
Many ineligible payment options in the welcome offer T&Cs
Luckster is another site that’s easy to sign up to and navigate around all the potential betting options. The layout is similar in look and feel to HeySpin, which is unsurprisingly considering the fact that they are both run off Aspire Global International software. At the time of this review, there were four sports promotions available for customers — with the welcome offer being a £10 bet voucher when you deposit and wager £10 of your own cash. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make a payment via Paysafecard in order to accept the promotion as this, along with Skrill, Neteller, and PayPal, are all ineligible. I was, however, able to make subsequent deposits via Paysafecard for regular bets. Overall, Luckster is a decent site and one I’d definitely recommend trying out. There’s all the betting features you’d hope to see, plus casino games readily available at the click of a button when you fancy a change.
Pros:
Broad sports market representation
Bet builder available for over eight sports
Well laid site with convenient bet slip in the corner of the main page
Cons:
Customer support only available from 8am till midnight
When I first landed on Bzeebet, it took a few minutes for me to work out where to go first — there are a lot of words and options on the landing page so it can seem slightly disorienting. Once I’d worked out what I wanted to bet on, it didn’t take me long to find as, like most sportsbooks, each of the sports are listed down the left hand side. One thing I did particularly like about Bzeebet is the ease at which you can live chat to someone on the site. There’s a tab at the top of the page for live chat alongside other useful means of customer support, so they definitely prioritise helping their users.
Making a deposit with Paysafecard was really easy and there are lots of alternative payment options available for when it comes to withdrawing from your account, including MuchBetter, Trustly, Skrill and AstroPay.
Pros:
Lots of promotions available for existing customers
Casino and live casino offerings for when you want a change from sports betting
Plenty of in-play betting opportunities
Cons:
No 24/7 customer support
Bet Storm is one of my favourite sites in terms of design — I really like the colour scheme and the background football pitch image which I think makes it stand out from much of the competition. The available sports markets are listed down the left hand side as icons, meaning there’s not too much wording to confuse the main page of the site. There’s a 100% up to £100 plus 20 free spins welcome bonus, but be mindful that the free spins can only be used on Book of Dead and disappointingly there’s an eye-watering 50x wagering requirement attached to the matched deposit. Alternatively for sports betting fans, you can pick up a £10 free bet when you bet £10 of your own cash. Outside of Paysafecard, there’s a great amount of payment options available including Trustly, Neteller, AstroPay and ecoPayz.
Pros:
Easy to navigate site layout
Casino games and live casino available
Great range of promotional offers including tournaments between customers
Cons:
Huge wagering requirements - 50x - on welcome offer
Our Ranking Criteria
How We Review Paysafecard Betting Sites
We take great care to ensure our Paysafecard betting site reviews are thorough and meaningful for our readers. So what do we look for and what criteria ranks highly? Let’s go through our checklist now so you know what elements are most important to our reviewers.
Licensing
We only review Paysafecard betting sites that hold a UKGC licence. While a licence like this doesn’t guarantee anything, it does mean that the site you’re betting on is held to high standards and expectations in regards to customer care, clarity and data encryption security. Once we’re confident there’s a licence in place, we’ll happily review a site.
Promotions and Offers
The best Paysafecard betting sites provide a welcome offer to new customers that give you the chance to familiarise yourself with the site and test out a few betting markets. During our review process we also hope to find some decent offers that are specifically aimed at existing customers and we take the time to suss out the terms and conditions attached, highlighting in our reviews any particular sticking points or overly harsh requirements.
Paysafecard Compatibility
Of course, when reviewing with the Paysafecard customer in mind, we’ll always check which sites support this payment option. Naturally, you will need an alternative option for your withdrawals so the review will cover off all the other available payment methods. Aside from this, we always check for fees or other ineligibilities, such as bonus acceptance, that can sometimes accompany certain payment options.
Mobile Capabilities
The majority of the best Paysafecard betting sites are designed for the mobile user but we’ll always take the time to see just how good a site plays on the smaller screen. With the capabilities of modern technology, we wouldn’t expect to see any sizing issues or missing content that’s present on the desktop version. Bonus points for sites that have devised a native app as this allows people easier access, push notifications and immediate log-ins to their preferred betting site.
Customer Service
While your time spent on online betting sites won’t typically require any support, it’s important a Paysafecard betting site provides decent customer service for times when something goes wrong. There should be a range of communication lines available, including email, live chat, FAQs, social media handles and telephone options. We’re particularly impressed when at least one of these is available 24/7.
Pros & Cons
Pros and Cons of Using Paysafecard
Paysafecard isn’t as well known as some of the more widely advertised e-wallet solutions so we thought it might be helpful for you if we noted down some of the pros and cons associated with this betting site deposit method.
Pros
High levels of security – There’s no need to submit any personal details when using Paysafecard at a betting site, so it’s ideal for those concerned with safety.
Readily available – This 16-digit code voucher system of payment is available at the majority of the best sports betting sites.
Easy to use – Using the vouchers is a quick and easy way to make a betting site deposit.
No fees associated with Paysafecard – Deposits to betting sites are free when using this payment option.
Cons
Low deposit levels – This may not be ideal for high rollers.
How to Choose a Paysafecard Betting Site
STEP 1
Read Our Reviews
Take a look through our detailed Paysafecard betting site reviews. Within these, you will find detailed information on everything you need to know in order to select the best one for you. Our reviews will only ever include sites that are licensed by the UKGC and will cover areas of focus like the sports markets available, promotions and any unique feature available.
STEP 2
Check the Betting Options
It’s important to verify that the sports markets you’re interested in are available. If you have a particular niche interest then it’s worth reading through the list of sports to make sure it’s there. You’re less likely to need to check on this if your favourite sport to bet on is football, but you may want to double check that sports like lacrosse, handball and squash are available.
STEP 3
Compare Bonuses and Features
Once you’ve narrowed down your search, it’s worth ensuring the features and bonus offers align with what you’re hoping for. It’s important to check out existing customer promotions because once you’re signed up and the welcome offer has been used, these will be available to you. Similarly, if you like a particular feature such as bet builders or live streaming, be sure to have a look before signing up.
STEP 4
Sign Up
Once you’ve gone through these checks and you’re sure of the one you want - fill in your details, select the welcome bonus, make a deposit and place that first bet at your preferred Paysafecard betting site!
How to Deposit
How to Deposit with a Paysafecard Voucher
So you’ve chosen your preferred Paysafecard betting site – how do you make a deposit?
Follow these simple steps.
Select ‘deposit’ on the betting site cashier page.
You will see a list of payment options available to you – simply click on the Paysafecard logo.
Next you need to input the amount you’d like to deposit.
You’ll be asked to tap in the 16-digit pin found on the back of your Paysafecard voucher and then hit ‘pay’.
For those with a Paysafecard account, you can log in and your deposit amount will be deducted from your balance.
Banking
Other Payment Methods
Looking for a withdrawal payment option to complement your Paysafecard deposit? Let’s look through some of the most commonly found banking options for sports betting fans.
Visa and Mastercard
Still one of the most popular methods of deposit and withdrawal, Visa and Mastercard debit cards allow people to quickly and easily submit their bank details. Withdrawing via this method is a little on the slow side — typically taking a few days. However, Visa card owners have the benefit of Visa Fast Funds which allows you to withdraw from your account as quickly as within half an hour. The main benefit of Visa and Mastercard is that you can pretty much always guarantee they will be supported by your chosen sports betting site.
Trustly
Operating through Open Banking, Trustly is a fast withdrawal and deposit payment method. One of the best aspects of Trustly is that there’s no need to set up an account before you can use it. On top of this there are no associated fees and no need to input any personal details to the betting site. It’s hard to find any negatives for Trustly — perhaps the only one is that it’s still not as widely available as the likes of PayPal, but this is quickly changing with more and more operators recognising the benefits of Trustly for their customers.
AstroPay
One of the most versatile payment options available, AstroPay triples up as a digital prepaid voucher, an e-wallet and a digital Visa card. AstroPay customers can manage their accounts via an app, gaining exclusive rewards and benefits such as sporting event tickets. While AstroPay is still a growing payment provider in the UK, we are seeing it available at an increasing number of the best sports betting sites — it’s speedy, secure and ticks many boxes when it comes to online payment solutions.
Skrill
Part of the Paysafe Group alongside Paysafecard and Neteller, Skrill is an e-wallet that offers fast and secure deposits and withdrawals. Perhaps not as well known as the leading e-wallet, PayPal, it still provides an easy way of making payments at your favourite bookies. One thing to keep in mind is that Skrill — similarly to Neteller and PayPal — is often an ineligible deposit method for bonus acceptance, so it’s worth reading the T&Cs before going ahead with a promotion.
Neteller
Another great e-wallet banking option, Neteller sits alongside Skrill under the Paysafe Group umbrella. The two are almost identical in what they offer, ensuring fast and secure transactions to and from your preferred online sports betting site. The Neteller app is smooth and easy to use, but be mindful that you will likely have to use a different payment provider in order to accept a bonus offer. E-wallets are typically void.
PayPal
The most well known and readily available e-wallet solution to be found at any sports betting site, PayPal provides a speedy transaction service that allows people to consolidate preferred payment cards and accounts into one handy location. Be mindful that fees are sometimes associated with PayPal transactions and it’s more than likely not accepted against bonus acceptance. Nevertheless, you’ll never need to input your personal bank details into a sports betting site if PayPal is your preferred payment method, so it’s definitely one for the security conscious to consider.
About Paysafecard
About Paysafecard
Paysafecard was founded in Austria in 2000 by four business partners, including the original CEO, Armin Sageder. In 2013, Skrill acquired Paysafecard.com and a year later they also took on Paysafecard competitor, Ukash, and rebranded the company as Paysafe Group — the name we’re familiar with today. The current CEO of Paysafe Group is Bruce Lowthers, who joined the team in May 2022. Originally headquartered in Vienna, their offices are now spread globally in locations such as Dublin, London, Vienna, Texas, California and Montreal. Currently, the Skrill and Neteller e-wallets sit under the Paysafe Group umbrella of leading payment options alongside Paysafecard – the two e-wallets are virtually identical in what they offer, varying only in the jurisdictions in which they operate.
The majority of leading betting sites accept Paysafecard, however it’s worth checking before signing up if this is your payment method of choice. A list of supported payment options is often found in the help section or terms and conditions.
With a Paysafecard voucher you can only make deposits. It is possible to make withdrawals to your Paysafecard account, however this isn’t usually available on bookies sites.
Yes, you can manage your account via the Paysafecard app. Through the app you can set up a prepaid payment account to make deposits to your favourite betting sites.
