Our Bwin Review

My experience with Bwin was positive overall. I liked how easy it was to open my account and my a cash deposit. The app had great functionality and was easy to navigate, though I did find it hard initially to find where the special offers were.

Though I appreciated the ease of accessing the Bwin bonus in terms of there being no Bwin promo code needed, accessing the Bwin free bets requires you to jump through more hoops than several competitor offers. I also would have preferred to use my Bwin free bet on something other than football too.

In summary, the site has a great design and excellent functionality, and the betting options are numerous and have great odds. The downside for me was the Bwin bonus offers both in terms of the free bet (only if you lose) and the lack of regular promotions.

Personal Experience Using Bwin

I’ve tried a lot of different bookmakers and they all bring something different to the market. There were several things I liked about Bwin: the site, the app, the sports and markets, and the banking options. However, there were limited amount of bonus offers for existing customers compared to other sites. I’d have liked to see free cash bonus deals, for example or insurance bet promotions. Overall, though, I prefer to do my betting on a great site and tend not to focus too much on promotions, so this site suited me.

On Which Sports Can You Apply The Sign Up Offer?

The Bwin sign up offer requires an initial bet of at least £10 to be made. If this qualifying bet loses, the free bet will be issued to the same amount as the initial stake.

In the offer’s T&Cs there are clear rules as to what qualifies as a first bet. It must be a bet on sports with at least three sections and the odds must be combined at 2/1 (3.0) or greater. There is no minimum odds per selection.

Here are three betting markets that would class as a qualifying bet:

Football

Football bet with at least three selections count towards the sign up offer. You could build an acca on a range of UK or international football games, for example, or make three selections on one team, as long as the combined odds are 3.0 or greater.

Tennis

There are several options for tennis accas that you could take advantage of as a part of the welcome offer.

Basketball

There are several options for basketball accas too. Bwin shows handy ‘trending accas’ that make it easy to choose your selection to be able to claim your free bet. This includes U21 games.

Bwin Existing Customer Promotions and Regular Offers

After the welcome offer, there are lots of Bwin offers available to existing customers. Sports betting offers include:

Beat the Legend

This is a tournament to win a once-in-a-life time football experience.

Boost Your Acca

This gives you an odds boost of up to 70%, which gives you boosted winnings.

Best odds guaranteed

This is available every day on UK or Irish horse racing.

Predict 5

This is a weekly free-to-enter bonus. As an eligible player, you could win a share of £5,000 in cash.

Does Bwin have a Mobile App?

As most betting fans use mobiles nowadays, it’s important to know about mobile apps. Thankfully, Bwin’s app is available on all devices. The iOS app is highly rated (4.7/5) but the Android version is rated average. That said, I used the Android version and have nothing bad to say about it so it could be that any issues users had have now been fixed so it’s more inline with the iOS version.

Bwin Key Sportsbook Features: What Makes Signing Up Worthwhile?

There are several key features about the Bwin site that make it a great place to enjoy betting. Here are some of my favourite things about the Bwin site.

Sports, Markets, and Odds

Bwin offers a range of sports betting options that appeal to UK players. This includes popular sports like football, UK and Irish horse racing, and greyhounds. There are several rarer bet options too.

The best variety of markets are available for football. So, whether you fancy a flutter on the English Premier League, top teams like Real Madrid, or less popular markets like Costa Rica’s Liga de Ascenso, you’ll find what you need.

Though Bwin doesn’t have the best odds, the site generally has high odds.

In-play and Live Betting

The in-play betting at Bwin is excellent. You can access this by clicking the ‘in-play’ icon in the header. When on the live betting screen, you’ll see all of the available options, including which ones are available for live streaming.

Live streaming is available to all customers who have a positive balance (not including bonus money). It is also available to those who have placed a bet withing the last 24 hours.

Bwin Site and App Functionality

When conducting my Bwin review, I made sure to check how my Bwin account functioned on the Bwin website, mobile site, and the Bwin betting app. I found the bookmaker’s design to be very intuitive. The site is easy to navigate and you can place a bet in a matter of clicks.

The app is available for both Android and iOS devices in their respective app stores.

Payment Options

Being an international website, there is a great range of payment methods available. These include debit cards, e-wallets (Neteller, PayPal, Skrill,) bank transfer, Google pay, Apple Pay, and Paysafecard.

Customers should remember that they cannot use e-wallets to finance their initial bet as they won’t be eligible bets for the welcome offer.

The Bwin withdrawal time varies depending on the banking method chosen.

Customer Service

Bwin support is available through a link at the bottom of each page. This takes you to a decent selection of FAQs – more so than most bookmakers I’ve reviewed. If you need to contact the customer service team directly, you can use live chat, email ([email protected]), telephone (00442039380862), or use social media channels.

Security

UK players are used to a high level of security and Bwin is no different. The details available about security on the website shows both new and existing customers that this is a legitimate site that cares greatly about its customers safety. The site has encrypted webpages and secure firewalls.

Which Payment Methods Can I Use To Deposit & Withdraw With Bwin?

As a new customer, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the choices available for depositing cash and withdrawing winnings. Like many bookies, however, you are required to withdraw using the same method as your deposit. You’ll also need to read Bwin bonus T&Cs to see if there are restrictions for bonuses based on your current payment method. I recommend using debit cards if you want to access the sign up offer, though you’ll need to compromise with a slower withdrawal.
