LuckLand is an online gambling site that was launched in 2015 and is owned and operated by Aspire Global — a big name in the iGaming sphere.

With equal emphasis on online casino games and sports betting, LuckLand is perfect for those who like to enjoy the best of both worlds. The sports betting platform boasts an impressive variety of sports and markets, as does the list of available payment methods — with support for those who like to pay via debit cards, e-wallets or prepaid cards.

Read on to learn more about what makes LuckLand such an exciting newcomer, and for our honest opinion on its strengths and weaknesses. This starts with an assessment of the Luckland sign up offer: a £10 free bet when new customers stake their first £15.

Our Luckland Sports Review

It’s clear that Luckland has one major selling point: its sheer volume of sports and the market depth within them. I was amazed to find almost 50 different betting categories at this sportsbook, including a wide range of e-sports for the modern punter. One oddity of this list however is that it doesn’t include any horse racing markets, so you’ll need to look elsewhere for odds on the latest meets.

Nothing feels cluttered or confused either — an impressive feat for such an ambitious list of betting markets. Customers can easily find their way around the sportsbook, aided by the drop-down menu on the left-hand side and useful tabs such as My Favourites, In-Play and My Bets. There’s also a Boosted Odds section just above the list of sports — a great touch that informs bettors of where the most valuable prices are on any given day.

Luckland rounds this off with bet builders, cash out functionality, a dedicated mobile app, an excellent range of banking options, and an online casino packed with nearly 1,000 games.

The welcome offer is a little on the mean side, and I’d like to see more promotions available for existing customers. Luckland would also be improved by the introduction of a live chat service, which is a surprising omission from its customer support efforts.

Personal Experience Using Luckland

Though it’s by no means without its shortcomings, Luckland offers an extremely well-rounded and versatile online gambling experience. My personal opinion is that this is a site for hybrid sports bettors and casino players, given that Luckland’s approach to bonuses is to overload on the casino side.

Having said that, Luckland’s range of betting markets beats almost every other UK sportsbook, with outstanding depth within each of them. Creating my Luckland account was both easy and quick, as was placing my qualifying deposit and bet. And if it’s possible to exhaust Luckland’s betting markets, the casino is stacked full of games and bonuses.

As I mentioned above, I’d like to see more promotions for returning customers, the introduction of a live chat service, and the rollout of a mobile app for Android users.

If our Luckland review has convinced you, click through, create your Luckland account, and claim your first £10 free bet.

Luckland Sports Existing Customer Promotions and Regular Offers

Unfortunately, there isn’t much by way of ongoing sports promotions for existing customers at Luckland. It seems that these are reserved for casino players, with a lucrative ‘Drops and Wins’ promotion that has existing players battling it out on Pragmatic Play games for a £2,000,000 prize pot every month.

Alongside the monthly Drops and Wins there’s also the ongoing ‘Into the Universe’ and ‘Slots’n Bash’ tournaments with respective prize pools of £160,000 and £10,000, as well as the ‘Daily Spin Frenzy’.

This is all great if you like to play casino games as well as bet on sports, but if you’re only interested in the latter, you might be disappointed by the lack of betting promotions at Luckland.

On Which Sports Can You Apply the Sign Up Offer?

There’s an impressive lineup of markets at Luckland. With the exception of horse racing, we’d be surprised if the sport you want to bet on isn’t covered — from popular options like football and tennis to the more unique charms of Pesäpallo and Gaelic hurling. Let’s take a look at the three biggest sports at this betting site in closer detail.

Football

Luckland offers odds on matches from the domestic leagues and cups of 56 football-playing nations. Place pre-match and in-play bets from the Premier League to Argentina’s Primera C — and absolutely everything in between.

American Football

The NFL’s preseason was in full swing at the time of my review, with odds available on a range of competitions and outright markets.

Tennis

With matches from the ATP, WTA, ITF and Challenger tours, there’s no shortage of tennis action at Luckland. Keep a look out for bonus offers around the time of the four Grand Slams.

Live Betting & Streaming

These days, you can’t really call yourself a bookie if you don’t support live betting, but LuckLand really excels in this department. The range of available in-play markets is very impressive for a newcomer, and you’ll always find that there’s something to bet on live. At the time of writing this — at 11 o’clock in the morning — there’s currently over 40 in-play events on LuckLand, and a plethora of in-play markets available for each.

Of course, you’ll also have the option to cash out early during any of these events

Disappointingly, there’s no live streaming platform at LuckLand, but this is hardly surprising. LuckLand is still a new, and relatively small, betting site, and we hope that this may change at some point in the future.

Odds

LuckLand provides competitive odds on a great range of markets. As always, we recommend you compare odds with a number of different bookies, but you shouldn’t be disappointed by the odds you’ll be getting at LuckLand.

LuckLand also features an excellent odds boost on all accumulators made up of at least four selections. These can, theoretically, produce winnings boosts of up to 77%, but the only way to access the 77% boost is by winning a 15-fold acca. The simple 4-fold acca will receive boosted winnings of 4%. This isn’t much, but every little odds boost counts.

It doesn’t look like LuckLand is in a position to take and provide odds on bet request, but this is usually a luxury only afforded to those who gamble at the bigger UK bookies like Betfair and Paddy Power.

Does Luckland Have a Mobile App?

The Luckland mobile app, which is available for download on the App Store, is arguably superior to the desktop platform. The overall layout is sleeker, and there are almost 50 markets to bet on and 800 games to play. These are impressive figures for any betting app, allowing punters to capture live sporting action and place bets while on the move. The app’s navigational tools mark a significant improvement, and you can enable push notifications to be alerted to new, exclusive bonuses such as free bets, odds boosts and more.

Design & Usability

For us, this is where LuckLand falls slightly shy of its competitors. While there is nothing explicitly wrong with the site design and general user experience here, everything just feels slightly rudimentary.

If you’re familiar with some of Aspire Global’s other sites — such as Luckster and Magic Red — you’ll no doubt recognise the layout here. All these sites follow the exact same format, which is part of the problem. We’d love to see one of these brands spruce things up a little bit.

Having said that, the design of LuckLand’s sports section is much more user-friendly than its casino section, as it’s easy to find all your favourite sports and markets and that’s all that matters in the end. In fact, it’s often better to keep things simple in order to save the user from getting lost on the way to their betslip.

If you ask us, it seems as if the site has been designed with the mobile user in mind, as the layout is very similar to its desktop compatriot. This is good news for mobile users, despite the lack of a native app. The main difference being the sports list across the top on mobile and down the left on desktop. For me, I found the mobile version relatively clear but searching for particular sports can be a little clunky.

Luckland Sports Key Sportsbook Features: What Makes Signing Up Worthwhile?

UK punters are spoilt for the choice when it comes to betting sites. With so many to choose from, our readers want to know what makes one bookmaker stand out from the rest. The sections below explain why we think signing up to Luckland is worthwhile.

Range of Sports Markets

New customers won’t be complaining about a lack of sports at this site. I counted 38 different sports in the menu on the left side of the sportsbook homepage, covering major sports such as football, tennis, golf, cricket, boxing and American sports. Within this list you’ll also find a smattering of less celebrated sports like lacrosse, volleyball, futsal and loads more. Rounding off the selection are nine e-sports markets, including Call of Duty, Rocket League and League of Legends.

Market Depth

It’s not just the range of markets that impressed me, but the depth within them too. At the time of my review, the most stacked sports category was American football with 1,295 markets available to bet on. This was followed by football (1,054), tennis (534), ice hockey (294) and basketball (134). To give you an idea of the coverage here, live betting markets on football at the time of my review extended from the Paraguay Reserve League to the Kazakhstan Second Division.

Betting Features

The inclusion of bet builders and cash out features shows that Luckland understands the dynamism of modern sports betting markets. Bet builders act as a kind of accumulator, where punters select specific markets from either one event or multiple events to develop hyper-specific bet slips and generate more attractive odds. Cash out, meanwhile, is the ultimate in-play betting tool.

Integrated Online Casino

For those who like to mix up sports betting with online casino gameplay, Luckland offers both options from one account. The Luckland casino is stacked with ongoing promotions, providing players with plenty of opportunities to land free spins and other prizes on their favourite casino games.

Mobile App

All of this and more is accessible via Luckland’s mobile app — a dedicated platform for mobile users who enjoy placing bets and playing casino games on the move. Unfortunately the mobile app is only available on iOS devices, so Android users may want to look elsewhere.

Customer Support

One area LuckLand Sport could certainly improve is its customer support. You can currently only get in touch via email or the web form. Considering the majority of sites are now offering instant live chat support, it’s hard not to feel like LuckLand is slacking here. Nonetheless, we received a helpful reply within an hour of sending our email — so at least the team are prompt! They’re available to assist you with your queries seven days a week from 7am to 11pm GMT, and we expect this will be enough for most customers.
