Welcome Bonus

Bettors are usually attracted by the triple figure welcome bonuses offered by the biggest sportsbooks in the industry, but Redzone Sports have thrown their name into the mix with their generous welcome bonus.

New customers can benefit from a 50% deposit match up to £100. So if you deposit £200, you will get £100 extra in bonus funds. Your first deposit must be between £20 and £200. There is a wagering requirement of 7x to play through before you can withdraw any funds won using your bonus. This means that you will have to place a bet, or a series of bets equal to the combined value of seven times your deposit amount and bonus funds received. Any bet (excluding system bets) placed at minimum odds of 2.00 contribute to the wagering requirement. You will have 30 days to meet the requirements before your bonus expires.

Sports

Just a quick glance at the seemingly endless list of sports on the homepage’s sidebar will let you know how extensive Redzone Sports’ selection of sports is. As American sport specialists, they offer excellent coverage of American Football, Baseball and Basketball, but these aren’t limited to the major American Leagues. There are basketball markets available for well over 10 countries, and even coverage of Japanese baseball, so you’ll have no problem filling out your betslip. A deeper dive into each American sport will reveal almost 50 markets per event – some of the best coverage you’ll find in the UK.

If you’re not into American sports, Redzone Sports offer impressive coverage of UK favourites as well. Tennis and horseracing followers will find there’s plenty to like here, and for football fans, a look at the upcoming gameweek in the Premier League will reveal up to 100 markets per game, including standard money line and scoreline bets, as well as less common ‘to win from behind’ and ‘own goal’ markets.

Odds

A quick look through the sportsbook will reveal most of Redzone Sports odds allow them to compete with the biggest brands and provide you with excellent value! Almost all of the UK’s bookmakers follow the line set by Vegas, but Redzone Sports believe in creating their own lines and odds for U.S. sports, and they’re prepared to back that up by having super-sized limits for all their customers.

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any enhanced odds on offer, but with such a large number of sports to choose from, and fairly competitive odds, we think you’ll have no problem getting some great odds on your betslip.

Live Betting & Streaming

A quick link at the top of all RedZone Sports’ pages means that Live Betting is always just one click away. The live overview presents you with time elapsed, scorelines and money line odds for various live events. Much like the list of sports on the home page, you’ll have to scroll through a series of drop-down menus to find the game you’re looking for, but this barely detracts from the live betting experience on offer here.

The amount of live markets available for sports such as football is impressive, with up to 90 markets being offered for the more popular events.

The overall live betting experience is good, but with the absence of live streams to watch the action unfold, there is definitely room for improvement.

Promotions

Redzone Sports currently only offer a new customer promotion. Keep an eye on their promotions section though – as a new sportsbook, there are sure to be plenty of new features and promotions to entice bettors in the near future.

Design & Usability

Redzone Sports subtly pay homage to the American flag with a dark theme coupled with red, white and blue fonts – we think this is a nice touch. The task of finding your desired market isn’t as attractive, as you must go through a series of sub-menus. With such an impressive selection of sports from a huge range of countries, this can be quite difficult. Fortunately, there’s a handy ‘bet search’ feature, so you can find exactly what you’re looking for.

Redzone Sports don’t offer a mobile app, but you’ll be able to use their site as it’s optimised for most web-enabled devices. Their mobile site brings the same odds, markets and promotions as the desktop version, but is arguably presented in a more attractive layout. The long series of sub-menus is ditched for a few quick tabs linking to the most popular sports and an A-Z, making the process of going from coupon to betslip an easier one.

App Review

Redzone Sports do not currently have a mobile app.

Cashier

Redzone Sports only offer three of the more traditional payment methods – Debit cards and Bank Transfer. So if you’re looking to use an e-wallet such as PayPal to make a deposit, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

If this isn’t an issue for you, you’ll find the minimum deposit of £5 is fairly low, perfect for those of you who want to join in the fun with smaller stakes. The withdrawal times for all payment methods are 3-5 working days, similar to most other bookies.

Our Verdict

If you’re looking for a place to bet on American sports, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better option than Redzone Sports. Their coverage of other major sports is just as impressive, with a good number of markets for football and tennis. Their generous welcome bonus and fairly competitive odds compensate for the lack of promotions for exisiting customers. There’s plenty to like here whether you’re a seasoned U.S. sports veteran or a total newbie, and, all things considered, we think it’s safe to say Redzone Sports have crossed the goal line with their sportsbook.
