The 2025 NFL season is just days away and for six months 32 teams will put everything on the line to try and lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Last year’s winners, the Philadelphia Eagles, will hope to win the title for a second straight season, but that is a tough ask and NFL fans will not have to wait long to see if a team can spring a surprise in the first few weeks of the campaign
The Eagles won Super Bowl LIX by beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in New Orleans. Nick Sirianni’s team outclassed their NFC East rivals on their way to Super Bowl glory and their win over the Chiefs was a real statement after an enthralling season.
Philadelphia denied the Chiefs the chance to win the “three-peat”, with Andy Reid’s team set to win three Super Bowls in a row. Both teams are well fancied to be challenging for honours once again this season and we take a look at the main contenders for this year’s Super Bowl, which will take place at Levi’s Stadium in California.
Tip 1: Baltimore Ravens to win Super Bowl LX @ 13/2 with bet365
The Ravens are the joint 13/2 favourites to win the Super Bowl alongside the Buffalo Bills. John Harbaugh’s team won the AFC North with a 12-5 record and they reached the Divisional Round of the playoffs, only losing 27-25 to the Bills. If they can come through a tough start in good health, the Ravens should then kick on.
Baltimore are due to play the Bills, Detroit Lions, Chiefs, Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams in the first six weeks and that will be a difficult run of games to avoid defeat. With quarterback Lamar Jackson supported by running back Derrick Henry, the Ravens have two of the best at their craft and their passing attack has been boosted by the arrival of DeAndre Hopkins. Baltimore came within touching distance of reaching last year’s AFC Championship game and, if they can keep Jackson fit, they have every chance of writing last year’s wrongs.

Tip 2: Cincinnati Bengals to win Super Bowl LX @ 22/1 with bet365
The Bengals missed out on the playoffs in 2024, despite finishing the year with a 9-8 record. Quarterback Joe Burrow led the NFL in passing yards and he arguably has the best wide receiver in the league on his team in Ja’Marr Chase. After some defensive woes last year, the Bengals tied down Trey Hendrickson to a new contract and they drafted defensive end Shemar Stewart and linebacker Demetrius Knight to try and address their issues.
Despite a slow start last year, the Bengals still nearly made the playoffs and if they improve defensively this year, they should go close as they have the best passer in the game leading their offence.

Tip 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win Super Bowl LX @ 25/1
In the NFC, there’s some decent value to be had and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look tempting after they narrowly missed out in 2024. Todd Bowles’ team finished with a 10-7 record and they should win the NFC South once again. The Bucs lost 23-20 to the Washington Commanders in the WildCard Round of the playoffs, but they are one to watch this season. In the regular season in 2024, the Bucs beat both the Lions and Eagles.
In the draft they added wide receiver Emeke Egbuka to their ranks to try to give quarterback Baker Mayfield more options, while they have a solid one-two combination at running back thanks to Bucky Irving and Rachaad White. Defensively, the Bucs have always been competitive under Bowles and they should outperform their price this season.
