NFL Week 11 Betting Preview

Week 11 of the NFL is already upon us and there are several quality matchups for punters to get their teeth into. The Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders will play the first-ever NFL game in Madrid, while there is also a packed slate of action Stateside.

Week 11 of the NFL starts off with Thursday Night Football as the in-form New England Patriots take on the New York Jets before the first-ever game in Madrid as the Washington Commanders and Miami Dolphins do battle on Sunday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs host the Denver Broncos in the two standout Sunday games. Later that night, the Detroit Lions visit the Philadelphia Eagles before Monday Night Football between the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders.

In Sunday’s early match, the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders do battle in the first-ever NFL game in Spain, and the Dolphins are fancied to dominate. Washington are without their star quarterback, Jayden Daniels, while receivers Treylon Burks and Terry McLaurin are also out. Trey Amos has a fractured fibula, and tackle Daron Payne is suspended, so the Commanders look weak on both sides of the ball. 

They have lost their last five games, four of which were by at least 20 points, and they don’t look set to turn things around any time soon. Miami arrive off the back of a shock 30-13 win over the Buffalo Bills and they also recently beat the Atlanta Falcons by 24 points. The Dolphins are fancied to cover on the handicap.

The Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers both enter Week 11 on the back of chastening losses and they are fancied to respond with a real gunslinging affair. The Bills have the worst run defence in the league and Tampa will look to punish them on the ground but they are unlikely to be as poor as they were against the Dolphins and with Josh Allen under centre, anything is possible.

The Bucs lost to the red-hot New England Patriots, but in Baker Mayfield, they have one of the best quarterbacks in the league this season. He has 2,192 passing yards with 16 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Expect fireworks in Buffalo and this game to go over the total.

The return of Lamar Jackson from his month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury has seen an immediate upturn in Baltimore’s fortunes, winning back-to-back games. The Ravens should easily pick up another victory against a poor Cleveland Browns team, who are the third-lowest scorers in the NFL and lost to the struggling New York Jets last time out. The visitors can cover the handicap in this clash.
