Premier League Game Week 12 Betting Preview

The Premier League returns for Gameweek 12 with fixtures taking place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. 

Arsenal opened up a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League table prior to the international break and the Gunners go into Sunday’s north London derby with rivals Tottenham at the top of the tree.  Elsewhere, Newcastle host Manchester City at St James’ Park, Nottingham Forest go to Anfield to tackle Liverpool and there is the bonus of Monday night football with Manchester United meeting Everton.

Aston Villa’s improved form has gone a little under the radar and Unai Emery’s men look underrated on Sunday’s trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United. The Villans have won eight of their last 10 matches in all competitions and Emery’s men are up to sixth in the Premier League standings. Villa have beaten Man City, Tottenham and Bournemouth this term and Emery continues to squeeze every bit of ability out of his squad.

However, for all of City’s attacking brilliance, it’s only four clean sheets in 10 Premier League games and Newcastle can have hopes of getting on the scoresheet. The Magpies, who have won only two of their last seven top-flight games are unlikely to stop the Citizens feeling at home at St James’ Park, but Eddie Howe’s side can contribute to a high-scoring contest.
