DraftKings is the latest betting company to team up with the American Gaming Association’s responsible gambling campaign.
The US betting giant DraftKings has announced a collaboration with the American Gaming Association’s (AGA) “Have a Game Plan, Bet Responsibly” safer gambling campaign.
DraftKings teams up with the AGA
Under the partnership, the AGA’s campaign will be featured on DraftKings’ online platforms across digital marketing and social media and at the operator’s land-based betting facilities.
The campaign will also be promoted at DraftKings’ 10 land-based sportsbooks located across the US. In those land-based facilities, the campaign will be displayed on electronic and physical signs during the facility.
This will also mark the first time the AGA’s responsible gambling campaign will be promoted by a national land-based sportsbook operator.

“Customer safety is paramount, and we are confident that implementing Have A Game Plan alongside our own responsible gaming messaging and tools will enable us to increase customer exposure to responsible gaming practices and ultimately foster safer play.”
The AGA’s campaign will also run alongside DraftKings’ own “It’s More Fun When It’s Fun” campaign, which focuses on promoting safe betting through social media.

“With more than 100 million American adults now able to legally bet on sports nationwide, it is critical to educate consumers about how to safely and responsibly bet on the sports they love – and bringing the Have a Game Plan campaign to DraftKings’ extensive network of sportsbooks and customers is a great way to do just that. We are thankful for their significant commitment to keeping bettors safe and educated about responsible gaming.”
The AGA’s campaign
Through the campaign, the AGA and its partners aim to educate consumers on the basics of responsible sports betting while increasing awareness of problem gambling.
The US gambling body has teamed with several sports and betting organisations to help its message reach as many consumers as possible.
Some of the sports leagues that have teamed up with the AGA for the responsible betting campaign include NASCAR, the NHL, the PGA Tour, and the UFC. Meanwhile, DraftKings will now join FanDuel and Sightline, the first payments company to join the campaign.
