Unibet extends partnership with Philadelphia Eagles to include sports betting

Unibet has added sports betting to its partnership with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles.

Kindred Group’s Unibet-brand has announced that it has expanded upon its existing deal with the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles to cover sports betting.

This comes after Unibet announced a partnership with the NFL team back in November last year. Under this deal, the Unibet brand will be featured on the digital billboard at the Philadelphia Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field stadium during games and in some of the stadium’s luxury suites.

Kindred’s brand will also be featured on the Eagles’ website, social media platforms and in team publications.

Unibet and the Eagles partner on sports betting

During the offseason, the NFL amended their rules to allow official sportsbook partner designations, allowing NFL teams to ink sports betting partnerships.

Now, in addition to being an official casino partner of the Eagles, Unibet is now an official sports betting partner of the US team.

Arnas Janickas, VP Marketing US, Kindred Group, said: “For us, this is an exciting add on to a very successful working relationship. This means that we can extend our collaboration with the Philadelphia Eagles and provide their fans with unique, innovative experiences throughout our partnership, which we hope will last for a long time.”

Catherine Carlson, Senior Vice President of Revenue and Strategy, Philadelphia Eagles said: “We are excited to grow our existing partnership with Unibet through new opportunities and initiatives. It has been rewarding to work with Unibet over the past year and we look forward to a successful future with them.”

Unibet in the US

Kindred first launched its Unibet brand in the US sports betting market in September last year after launching its mobile betting app in New Jersey. The operator then launched its sports betting product in Pennsylvania in November.

The operator went on to launch its Unibet sportsbook app in Indiana in July this year, which gave the operator a presence in three US states with legal online betting.

Kindred also has plans to launch its Unibet app in several other states. In January 2021, Kindred plans to launch its Unibet app in Iowa in partnership with Caesars. The operator is waiting for the state’s in-person registration requirement to end this year before entering the state.

The operator has also inked market access agreements with Penn National Gaming for sports betting in Illinois and Ohio.
