DraftKings has announced a sports betting deal with the Premier Lacrosse League.
The daily fantasy sports provider turned multi-vertical gambling operator, DraftKings, has signed a sports betting deal with the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL).
What’s covered in the deal?
Under the deal, DraftKings will become an official sports betting partner of the PLL. DraftKings will partner with the league and upcoming Championship Series between 25 July and 9 August. In addition to this, DraftKings was named the sole and exclusive Regulated Gaming Sponsor of the 2020 Summer Tournament.
During the tournament, DraftKings will also act as the presenting sponsor of PLL Analytics across all broadcasts.
The league and DraftKings have also teamed up to create a proprietary lacrosse data analytics platform that will help keep fans up to date on key trends and lacrosse statistics to help fans place informed bets.
DraftKings will also have access to PLL marks and logos including team, jersey, and league marks on all of its platforms and media channels for marketing purposes. The operator will also benefit from in-stadium marketing rights with TV and LED signage during games.

What has DraftKings been up to?
This news comes after DraftKings launched its online casino product in the state of West Virginia, marking the launch of online casino gambling in the state.
DraftKings has also launched its standalone casino application in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Earlier this month, the operator commenced land-based sports betting operations at Twin River Worldwide Holdings’ Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado.
